What kind of cable television services are available?
ICTV-Kosrae offers a standard package, which includes over 20 channels both from prerecorded and satellite feeds and 2 premium channels.
ICTV-Yap offers a standard package, which includes over 15 channels both from prerecorded and satellite feeds and 2 premium channels.
ICTV-Pohnpei's standard package includes 22 channels and 2 premium channels.
Do I have coverage in my area?
Coverage is now available to most villages in Kosrae except Walung village.
In Pohnpei, there is coverage in Kolonia, Nett, U, Sokehs Island and recently some parts of Sekere, Sokehs. ICTV-Pohnpei is striving hard to be able to provide cable services to Madolenihmw and Kitti residents.
How do I subscribe?
For ICTV-Kosrae, you can fill out an application form at the FSM Telecom Corporation office in Tofol or print a copy of the form here and take it to the FSMTC office. The same goes for ICTV-Yap, click here to print a copy of the form and take it to the FSMTC office in Yap.
In Pohnpei, visit the ICTV-Pohnpei office located behind Bernard's Gas Station to subscribe, or print a copy of the form here and take it to ICTV.
Once the application form is processed, a technician is dispatched to your residence to link up the cable line to your television unit(s).
What is the setup fee for subscribing?
There is a $25.00 hookup fee & a monthly recurring charge of $25.00 for a single-family unit. Hotel hookup fees are $50.00 & monthly rental depends on the number of rooms.
How much do I have to pay monthly?
There is a monthly recurring charge of $25.00 for a single-family unit. Hotel hookup fee is $50 and the recurring monthly fee depends on the number of rooms. For ICTV-Pohnpei, there is a monthly recurring charge of $10 for each premium channel.
Who do I call if I have a problem with Cable TV services?
In Kosrae, please call the trouble desk at telephone number 611. For ICTV-Pohnpei, call 320-2670.
Can I add additional TV units to my cable connection?
Additional TV units can be added at $3.00 per unit for a single-family unit.
I seem to be disconnected, what could have caused that?
It may be that you have been disconnected because your account is past due or it could be faulty cable lines. In the latter case, call us during business hours and a technician will be dispatched immediately to address your concerns. Your cable operator reserves the right to disconnect your service, without notification, if your account is past due. Accounts are deemed Past Due if payment for the current month is not made by the 30th. Monthly service charges are due and payable on the 10th of the current month for the current month's service.
Can I use my VCR to record movies or programming?
Yes, you can record programming on your VCR.
